According to CH HD News on November 18, the Thai Economic Crime Investigation Bureau (บก.ปอศ.) raided a commercial building leased by Chinese capital and found that the place employed foreign workers to privately produce and assemble vape parts, while disguised as a cosmetics manufacturer on the surface.
On November 15, the police found that the commercial building was suspected of illegally importing vape equipment and performing assembly operations here. Through the search, the police found that the place was disguised as a cosmetics manufacturer on the outside, but in fact there were foreign workers assembling vapes inside.
The suspect under control is Ms. Liao, a Chinese national who is responsible for the operation of the place, as well as 22 Burmese foreign workers. The police seized 3,510 vapes, 63 gallons of vape oil, 8 vape production equipment, 33,000 vape assembly parts and 9,600 packaging equipment. When arrested, the suspect denied all charges, but 22 Burmese workers admitted that they worked for the suspect and received wages from him.
This case involves multiple charges. The woman is suspected of hiding, selling or receiving imported items without customs procedures, engaging in unauthorized business activities, etc.; 11 Burmese suspects are charged with illegal entry and engaging in unauthorized occupations.
As a company dedicated to promoting healthy smoking cessation and advocating legal vape consumption, Guutuu vapes expresses concern about such illegal acts. The company emphasizes that consumers should be vigilant in identifying illegal products when purchasing vapes to avoid being affected by counterfeit vapes.
In this case, the arrested suspect was responsible for the operation of an illegal factory and used methods disguised as other industries to carry out illegal production. This once again reminds consumers to choose formal channels when purchasing vapes, identify products sold through official channels, and pay attention to checking anti-counterfeiting marks to ensure the authenticity and legality of the products.
Guutuu vapes calls on consumers to be more vigilant against illegal vapes and choose reputable brands and channels to purchase vape products to ensure their health and safety. Purchasing vapes through formal channels can not only get better product quality and after-sales service, but also support legal operations and avoid supporting illegal activities. I hope every consumer can protect their health with wise choices and support the development of the legal industry.
