After testing, the above-mentioned vape cartridges are all counterfeit vapes.
After trial, Wuping Court held that the defendant Liang Mouhong violated the provisions of the national tobacco monopoly management laws and regulations in order to make illegal profits, illegally produced and sold counterfeit vapes with a total value of more than 500,000 yuan, and his behavior constituted the crime of producing and selling counterfeit products. The facts of the prosecution’s accusation of the defendant’s crime are clear, the evidence is sufficient, and the charges are established. Therefore, Wuping Court sentenced the defendant Liang Mouhong to two years and ten months in prison for the crime of producing and selling counterfeit products, suspended for three years, and fined RMB 70,000.
